Class Code Flag: Naval Numeral 5 (Yellow with Blue diagonal cross)

Boats racing in this class will be all boats recognised as Sportsboats under the RYA and RORC Sportsboat rule. All racing will take place under this rule unless notified on the class notice board.

Sportsboat Safety Regulations.

All Yachts must carry:
Anchor and 30 fathoms warp or chain; first aid kit; personal buoyancy to EN 100 newtons for each member of the crew; two orange smoke and two red hand flares; an alternative source of propulsion to sails; fire extinguisher; boarding ladder; bucket (min 9 litre capacity) attached to a lanyard. A marine compass and VHF radio are recommended.
