Cruising.

The sailing waters of Cardigan Bay offers excellent recreational waters around the North and Western parts of Wales. Cruising ports of call include Chapel Bay on the Northern side of St. Tudwalls Island East and Porth Ceriad. Both are only a stones throw away from SCYC and offer tranquil retreats for a short cruise. Within a days sailing are Portmadog, Aberystwth and 'around the corner' Porth Dinllean. Further afield is the East coast of Ireland offering ports of call such as Dun Laoghaire and Howth. For the more adventurous there is Cork on Irelands Southern shores, also home of the famous 'Cork Week' that attracts serious racers.

A new addition to the cruising section are logs provided by SCYC members. Both the logs that appear here have won the Oddie Plate.
