Current subscription rates (2008) are as follows:
Family Membership £300.00
Two married parents or a partnership with any number of children who are under 22 years of age.
Single Parent Membership £200.00
A divorced/single parent with a child or children who are under 22 years of age.
Couples Membership £275.00
A man and wife/partner without children, or whose children are aged 22 years or over
Full Membership £200.00
A person who is 25 years or over, but not entitled to Veteran Membership.
Veteran Membership £80.00
A person who is 65 years of age or over and has completed 25 years of Membership at SCYC.
Young Membership £80.00
A person who is aged 22 years or over, but who has not reached the age of 25.
Young Membership (In Education) £50.00
If the Applicant is in full time education the subscription is reduced to £50.
Junior Membership £30.00
A person who is under 18 years of age on 1st October of current subscription and whose immediate family are not members of the Club. In this case the Proposer becomes a surrogate parent for the purposes of Membership.
Entrance Fee £50.00
Payable with Family, Single Parent, Couples, Widow/er's and Full Membership Applications. There is no Entry Fee for Young Members.
Late Season Entry 50%
After August 1st in the year of your application only, the Subscription is reduced by half.
The following information forms an inclusive part of the Rules of the Club and you should therefore note:-
Subscription Year 1st Oct to 30th September
Subscription Payable 1st January
Late Payment Surcharge + 10% post March 1st
