What's on at SCYC
All this week the Squibs battle it out. Two races a day and the usual social now expected of Abersoch Squib Week, plus the brisk conditions result in some tired but happy yachters. A fleet of 27 boats racing in the lovely waters of Cardigan Bay makes a sight for sore eyes. Looking ahead, Abersoch Keelboat Week entries are arriving daily. Again this looks like being a good event with some fairly handy boat flesh showing interest. Past winners are here, amongst them the magnificent Corby 37 'Impetuous' to the Sonata 'A Sharp Exit'. Bring it on!
What's on Ashore
The 2010 events schedule is now published on the Events page. It follows that Harry will be hosting the usual hospitality during the Summer, with a host of fine ales & wines for your enjoyment. There is a rumour that Keelboat week will have its very own brew. Better be there!

SCYC Squibs - In a recent tribute to Malcolm Blackburn, SCYC's long standing Squib class captain, the SCYC fleet was described as "the best in the world". You have to be organised to achieve that accolade. Here's how he does it.

Calling all Class Captains - Please send me some info to include on your Web page - it can include pics, history you name it - we'll print it!

The office opening hours are changing weekly, until we get into the summer holidays. Currently the office is open Monday, Tuesday and Friday 9am until 1pm, Bank Holidays, and weekends when there is club racing, as per the blue book.
